Dry needling uses a very thin medical filament needle to help a muscle release tension and communicate more effectively with the nervous system. When a muscle stays tight or reactive, it is usually a protective signal. The needle helps interrupt that signal so the muscle can relax and reset.
This often leads to easier movement, less guarding, increased blood flow, and reduced irritation or sensitivity. This makes the muscle easier to use in a natural, coordinated way again.
Dry needling is included in full treatment sessions or can be done on its own.
Investment for a stand-alone dry needling session: $85
